

CAVU International is proud to have co-authored a technical paper with ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd. that will be presented at the SPE/IADC Asia Pacific Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition, taking place August 5–6, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia.
The paper, “Back to the Future: Transformational Steps in Operational Leadership, Human Performance, and Crew Resource Management in Banyu Urip Drilling Operations,” examines the evolution of leadership, Human Performance, and Crew Resource Management practices across the Banyu Urip drilling program in Indonesia.
Safe and efficient drilling operations require more than technical expertise and advanced systems. They also depend on strong leadership, effective communication, situational awareness, trust, and the ability of teams to learn and adapt in real time.
