CAVU’s Chief Strategy Officer, Terry Barrett, will be participating on the Panel “Winning in Times of Change” at the IADC Advanced Rig Technology Conference in Amsterdam on 22 October.
“As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus said, ‘Change is the only constant in life’. In the drilling industry, significant changes are under way, both in terms of our business models and our technologies. In times like these, how can companies ensure that they end up on the winning side amid these big changes? How can companies transform themselves to become agents of change, rather than simply react to change and hope for the best? In this panel, speakers will talk about strategic risk taking as well as look at how other industries have responded to big shifts in their businesses, providing examples of successes and failures.”
