Anthony Spinler

Safety, Performance & Leadership Coach

Anthony Spinler enlisted in the Navy out of high school and retired 34 years later from the Reserves as a Civil Engineer Corps Captain.  Known as "dirt sailors", he spent almost all of his career in the Seabees where he took a battalion to Iraq as their Operations Officer and to Afghanistan as the Commanding Officer.  These units successfully constructed several strategically critical operations facilities, conducted drilling operations, repaired bridges, and performed health, life, and safety projects.

At the same time, Anthony has worked in various levels of project management, operations, and risk management consulting at NASA Johnson Space Center, in biotechnology, and has spent the last 20 years in the upstream Oil & Gas industry developing equipment used in drilling both on land and offshore.  A results driven and accomplished leader, Anthony has transformed culture and improved safety and performance in numerous organizations working in or traveling to 43 countries circumnavigating the globe.  

Anthony graduating with Merit from the United States Naval Academy as a Systems Engineer (Robotics and Controls) and has a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado.  He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas, and formerly a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).  

Anthony and his wife Dana have been married 30 years, are parents to three adult children, and live in Houston, TX.
