Craig was born August 15th , 1970, in a small town in Southern Illinois and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. Following his highschool graduation in 1988, Craig enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for 24 years and considers his greatest accomplishment. During his career he completed 9 deployments, 4 of which were in combat. While on active duty he also completed an AA Degree from Central Texas College.

Following his time in the Marines, Craig was the Deputy Project Manager for the Marines Corps Counter Improvised Explosive Device Program for nearly 8 years and most recently served as the Marine Liaison and Financial Counselor for Marine Federal Credit Union.

 He enjoy watching sports, playing golf, fishing, and hunting; primarily deer and migratory game birds. Craig has two adult daughters and 5 grandchildren that he is extremely proud of and visits as frequently as possible.
