Daniel Alvarez served in the Marine Corps for 13 years where he gained invaluable experience with deployments to Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and as part of the Combined Joint Task Force in Djibouti, Africa. He went on to cold weather mountainous training alongside the Japanese Self-Defense Force while stationed with the Inspector & Instructor staff on C Co 1/23 in Corpus Christi. He also had the privilege of working alongside the Bureau of Diplomatic Security at U.S. embassies in Abu Dhabi, Moscow, and the U.S. Mission to NATO in Brussels.
After leaving active duty, Daniel pursued a lifelong dream of earning his commercial pilot certification in California. He continued to fly through the COVID-19 pandemic before accepting a Performance Coach position working with clients such as Cleveland-Cliffs in West Virginia and Chevron in the Permian Basin. Daniel’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, a Bachelor of Science in Aviation and an advanced ground instructor certification through the FAA. He and his wife Ramona currently spend time between their residences in San Antonio, Tx and Bucharest, Romania.
