Lt Col Gurmit Singh al Wariam Singh (Retired) is an experienced Malaysian Army Logistics Officer who has retired after serving 34 years at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His career experiences include conducting logistics operations during the deployment of Malaysian troops under the United Nations (UN) in Bosnia Herzegovina. He has also involved in joint operations with other nations under United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR) in the mission area.

Demonstrates high accountability as a Logistics Training Advisor at the Malaysian Army Wargame Training Centre and involved in planning and conducting logistics exercises within the Army and all those bilateral exercises with the major Armed Forces from the ASEAN and Oceania countries. Have serve as an Instructor at the Royal Service Corps (RSC)Training Centre as a logistics instructor to develop and execute those training. The training includes transport management, fleet operation, Air, Land and Sea Movement Operation, Supply Operation, and Human Resource Management. He has also served as the Doctrine Staff Officer at the RSC Directorate at Malaysian Army HQ and was responsible for the development and implementation of the Army and Corps Logistic doctrines and SOPs.

He is also involved in planning, coordinating, managing, and supervising delegates and athletes transport fleets from all nations during internationals event held in Malaysia such as LIMA Langkawi 1993, Defence Service Asia 2000, SEA Games 2001 and also internationals event held by Malaysian Government and Ministry of Defence.  In 2014, he was appointed as coordinator for Malaysian Armed Forces with Malaysian Airlines System (MAS) during of the MH 17 human remains at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
