Jim Travers a retired Navy Commander, served as Officer in Charge of the Naval Research Laboratory managing Personnel, Research and Development Electronic and Mechanical systems, and Multi-Functional Projects in extremely challenging, high risk environments around the globe.  As Second in Command of the Navy’s largest base, he managed support for over 30,000 people, 1800 facilities and 65 major tenant organizations.  Military background includes over 30 years at sea operational and maintenance experience on board Submarines, Warships, Maritime Vessels, and Executive Management.
