Joseph “Joe” Ruzicka is a Safety, Performance and Leadership Coach with CAVU International.  He is a retired Colonel with over 26 years of experience in the United States Army as an Armor Officer.  Throughout the course of his career, he has commanded and advised at various levels, to include the Senior Military Advisor to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Mali.

Joe’s professional expertise focuses on leadership development, organizational change, team building and investing in human performance to maximize talent and skills to create organizations that can operate safely and effectively in the most complex, austere environments.  He has extensive experience on executive level staffs, planning and conducting operations throughout the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America.  He is a proven leader that can lead organizations through dynamic change.

Joe’s education includes a Bachelors in History from Colorado State University, a Masters in International Relations from Webster University, and a Masters in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College.
