Kelvin Gumbs is a retired U.S. Navy Chief Warrant Officer and senior executive leader with more than 25 years of experience leading high-performing teams in complex, high-risk environments. His military career spans assignments onboard nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, with strike fighter and reconnaissance squadrons, and senior staff roles across the Pentagon, Pacific theater, a combatant command, culminating as Staff Executive Officer and Director of Administration at Naval Education and Training Command.

He has served as Executive Director for Military Educational and Strategic Partnerships at Purdue University, a nationally recognized research university, where he has led enterprise-wide initiatives that align education, workforce development, and national security priorities. He collaborates with and leads senior leaders, researchers, and defense stakeholders to advance talent development and mission readiness at scale.

Kelvin brings a rare combination of operational credibility and strategic leadership to his work as a Human Performance and leadership coach with CAVU International. He is known for building trust quickly, challenging leaders to think differently, and unlocking individual and team performance in demanding environments.
