Mark Perry retired from the U.S. Navy as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Command Master Chief following a distinguished 26-year career of high-risk operations, leadership and training. He served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Navy’s west coast EOD training facility with 163 staff members training 500 students in bomb disposal techniques, combat tactics, diving and parachuting. Additionally, he served in Iraq as the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Combined Explosives Exploitation Cell responsible for technical/forensic analysis of captured explosive devices; this intelligence led to the targeting and capture of terrorists throughout the theater. After military retirement, he continued to conduct Unexploded Ordnance site remediation and bomb technician training both in the U.S. and internationally.
