Matt Waxenfelter is a retired U.S. Navy Master Chief with 30 years of active-duty service, where he had the honor of leading and mentoring some of America’s very best.  He has served at the 2-star (executive) level as a Command Senior Enlisted Leader in the joint environment, leading 700+ men and women from all military branches delivering intelligence, planning, and strategic nuclear alert operations worldwide.  Additionally, Matt served as Command Master Chief at United States Strategic Command’s Navy Element, where he was responsible for the professional development of hundreds of staff Sailors.  He also had the privilege of leading 81 High-Risk Training Instructors as Training Master Chief at a major command, producing over 6,000 new Marine Corps and Navy aircrew members and aviation rescue swimmers.  His final tour was Aircrew Master Chief for the Navy’s largest operational squadron, providing key leadership and coaching for 650 members in three geographical locations supplying airborne nuclear command and control coverage for the U.S. and Pacific theaters.
