Nixon Ng Bujang is a distinguished former military officer with over 30 years of dedicated service to the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) and Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), where he excelled in leadership coaching, safety management, and performance optimization across a variety of pivotal roles. During his tenure as Acting Base Commander at RMAF Kuching Air Base with over 500 military and civilian personnel, Nixon oversaw daily operations, including administration, emergency preparedness, and operational readiness. His leadership ensured safety and efficiency, even in critical and high-pressure situations. As Commanding Officer of the 331 Squadron RMAF, he played a vital role in safeguarding Sarawak’s airspace, leading air defence radar operations while mentoring his team to excel in challenging environments.

In a strategic capacity, Nixon served as a Strategic Planning Officer at RMAF Headquarters, where he implemented Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the Balanced Scorecard management system to align strategic goals with operational performance. His expertise in leadership coaching and change management significantly improved organizational efficiency and team dynamics. As Chief Instructor at the RMAF Leadership and Management Centre, Nixon designed and delivered courses that emphasized resilience, safety, and high-performance coaching, equipping leaders to thrive in dynamic settings.

Nixon’s influence extends internationally, having served as a military exercise planner collaborating with Armed Forces from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. Additionally, Nixon’s work with the United Nations Mission in Nepal as a Senior Planning Officer and Arms Monitor showcased his ability to mentor multinational teams and ensure safety, security during peacekeeping operations, particularly in disarmament and conflict resolution efforts.
