Renato de Araujo Leite is a retired Captain from the Brazilian Navy Marines Corps with a distinguished career spanning over 34 years of active duty and 8 years in retirement. He has completed an array of specialized courses including Teaching Technique, Flight Safety with the Brazilian Air Force, Special Forces Comando, Port State Control, General Staff Master, and Maritime Policy and Strategy (PhD) with the Brazilian Navy. Additionally, Cap Renato holds an MBA in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. As a highly skilled helicopter pilot, he has logged 2,011 flight hours, including 700 hours in offshore activities and over 1,009 landings on helipads and merchant ship helidecks, piloting models such as the Eurocopter AS 332, EC 135, and EC 155, as well as the Bell Jet Ranger III. Throughout his career, Renato has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in various high-stakes environments.
