Rear Admiral (ret) Ryan “Doc” Scholl is an accomplished military senior executive. His last three duties were Deputy Director and Senior Military Officer at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Commander of Carrier Strike Group EIGHT, and Deputy Director for Plans and Policy (DJ5) at US Strategic Command. His military experiences include Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) operations and policy, US Nuclear Weapons C2/plans/policy, US Navy Nuclear Power, Space Policy and Operations, Naval Aviation operations and management.

Ryan is, and always has been a team-oriented, results-driven people manager achieving great success creating high-performing groups in many diverse areas. His expertise has broadened in his 33+ years of Navy service from aviation operations to becoming a senior space/maritime/information operations executive experienced in senior leadership, command management, and strategic messaging at the highest levels of government within complex and diverse organizations.

Following retirement in 2023, he is self employed with Scholl Consulting LLC and works as a Senior Advisor to Advanced Nuclear Reactor corporations as well as being a Principal at Deep Water Point Associates.
