Served the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) for 34 years and held some of the following appointments; Recruit Training Instructor, Field &Tactics Instructor, Officer-in-Charge of Supervisory School, Personnel Services Officer, Senior Instructor at the School of Management & Administration, Head of Support Service handling Logistics and both Public & Non-Public accounts. Responsible for the safety & security of the bases worked at and ensured compliance to Safety Management Systems & SOP. Specialised on planning in Joint Warfare at the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) comprising local and international military officers. Appointed as head of the Malaysian Defence Organisation Program, Leadership & Soft Skills Courses Department & selected Joint Warfare modules.  

Competent at all levels of training with emphasis on Strategic & Operational management and training in specific areas of competency.  Involved in the planning, certification & implementation of ISO 9001:2008 at the MAFSC including the internal & external audit processes, and re-certification. Staff Officer at the Defence Operations & Training Division and involved in planning for joint and combined exercises (training) within the Malaysian Armed Forces and foreign defence forces.   Involved in reviewing legal doctrines, Board of Inquiries pertaining to aircraft crashes. Dealt with and managed personnel at levels within the military, civilians in MINDEF and external agencies from time to time using the various skills acquired during training such as management, negotiation, mediation, inter-personal and leadership skills. Commanded wing or squadron with over 300 military & civilian personnel. Conversant in crafting SOPs, orders, directives, working papers, official and routine matters for the purpose of communications or instructions with the necessary or relevant agencies.  

Trained in Safety, Health & Environment and Safety Management System to address issues concerning HSSE to minimise or eradicate adverse conditions in any place of work.  Integrity trust and honesty is considered as an essential virtue in day-to-day activities. Possesses excellent management capabilities, leadership, good communications and inter personal skills.  Possess a Master of Management from University Malaya.
